“ Updated: After years. Still love this place and thinks it's one of the most underrated restaurants going. Great for a first experience with genuine sushi. Very diverse menu from meals and mixtures of plates to sushi sets. Good selection of authentic japanese drinks alcoholic and none. Tried some fantastic whisky although its not my usual go to drink. The sake was especially fine and suited to meals (Id reccomend for two people ordering a bottle). The staff were helpful in regards to asking about menu choices so dont be afraid to ask. We sat outside but the inside decor atmosphere etc looked authentic and relaxed. ”

“ We had a great experience at Etsu and ordered a variety of items from their menu. The highlights for me were definitely the Etsu Roll and the chicken gyoza—both were absolutely delicious and I'd highly recommend trying them. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the soft shell crab, but I’m still glad I gave it a go—always good to try something new! We were also really impressed with the Mixed Set of 16—the quality was fantastic, and it left us feeling full and satisfied. The only small suggestion would be to match the fish on either side of the set so both people can try the same pieces, but that’s just a minor detail. Overall, the service was lovely and the food was amazing. We left full, happy, and already planning to come back! ”

It is kind of like tapas that your food will come when it’s ready but they do ask if you want it all together. We like getting ours as it comes. The food is so fresh and all made to order. 100% recommend. ”
